Are you a training organisation, or do you issue qualifications?
No. We are not a registered training organisation and we don't issue qualifications. However, to apply for a trade or builder's licence you'll need the right qualification, and we can point you to a suitable training organisation to complete it. The qualification you obtain then contributes to your licence application. Keep in mind that builder licence applications require both a relevant qualification and experience.
Is a qualification the same as a licence?
No, they're quite different. A qualification is something you need in order to apply for a licence. You'll need a licence if you run your own business and invoice above a certain amount, which varies from state to state.
